GUIDELINES FOR USE OF TrustClicks

These guidelines (the "Guidelines") apply to any use of TrustClicks websites. We refer to users of our Website throughout the Guidelines as "you" and "your".

1  When can you write a review?

1.1  You can write a review on TrustClicks about a company if you have had a buying, or service experience with that company, which means that: You can write a review about a company on TrustClicks if you have ever experienced services or purchases through the company. Meaning:FareFa

  • you purchased a good, placed an order or service through a company, website, organization etc.
  • you can always report on your “Service Experience” interacting with the company.

1.2  Write for your personal experiences. Trying to report problems for others will not be permitted.

  • You're review must reflect Service that you experienced in the last year. We encourage you to be Specific, include relevant points about the experience - Use process of ordering, delivery, and personal contact you made with employees.

1.3  You are not permitted to review a company you either owned, currently own, or have an immediately family member owning it. Nor if you are currently employed at the company. Also avoid writing reviews for company's that compete a company that you own or work at.

1.4  To write a review on TrustClicks you need a user profile and account. You only get one user profile that must be attached to a email address we can use to contact directly. Use the profile to write your Service Experience review on a company you’ve had within the past year. (One year from the date you are writing the review.)

2 What should you write about?

2.1  Your review should be about your Service Experience.

2.2  The review must contain reviews of the service and not reviews of the product nor the website, layout.

2.3  If you are writing a review due to a company offering an incentive, please include this information in within the review. (Incentives include but are not limited to, gifts, rewards, discounts or advantaged for writing a biased review)

3  When do we ask you to provide proof of your Service Experience, and what should you send us?

Verfications for review may be needed; in these cases, we will contact the reviewer and ask for documentation that represents that you have had service from the company in your review.

Tip: It is a good idea to keep emails, receipts or any proof of purchases.

All documentation shared with us will be confidential and will not be viewed by any third party company.

4 When can you edit your review?

5  When do we ask you to change your review?

5.1  Reviews will not be moderated, censored or monitored either before or after being published on our website

  • Checks will be ran for content that is not allowed on our website, such as crude language and links.

5.2  You may be asked to change your review in certain aspects if it was flagged for some of the following:

  • The review contains inflammatory content that includes defamatory statements or violates our guidelines
  • Content has violent, crude language, racial or sexist character, The review appears to be concerned with political, value-laden opinions, with out any relevance to the Service Experience
  • The content of your review appears to be solely concerned with ethical, political and/or value-laden opinion, as opposed to a Service Experience
  • Your review contains personal email, information, addresses, links or,
  • Your review is not a review about your Service Experience because it exclusively describes the functionality of the purchased product or of the website's layout.

6  When do we remove your review?

Reviews will only be removed from out website if we determine that the review itself violates these Guidelines, our Terms & Conditions* and/or applicable laws or regulations, or reviews that are inappropriate for an online review community. Examples of when we may remove your review include, but are not limited to:

  • We ask you to change your review and you don't do so within the specified timeframe.
  • We ask you to send us documentation showing that you have had a Service Experience with the reviewed Company (in accordance with clause 3) and you don't provide documentation within the specified timeframe.
  • Your review doesn't appear to be based on a genuine Service Experience (e.g. it is a fabricated review, see clause 11 below).
  • Your review is about an imposed tax or a fine.
  • Your review violates other people's or companies' rights, including intellectual property rights, rights of privacy/confidentiality and/or personality rights.
  • You have created multiple profiles to review the same Company multiple times.
  • We need to delete your user profile (see clause 8 below) which means that by default, your review(s) attached to that profile will also be deleted.

7  When do we block your account and what does that mean?

We may block your account if you are misusing our Website or services. This can include, but is not limited to, excessive use of the notification option (flagging a high number of reviews without justification), spamming our Website with marketing material, writing fabricated reviews, threatening or abusive behavior (see clause 12 below) or violating these Guidelines or our Terms & Conditions.

If we block your account, it will not be possible for you to sign in to our Website and use our services, including writing and notifying us about reviews. Your user profile will still exist and your reviews will stay online, but you will be unable to use our services. If your account is blocked and you would like to delete the profile, email Email and we'll can help you from there.

8  When do we delete your profile and account?

As a general rule, we will not delete user profiles and accounts. However, we reserve the right to delete if we come to find that you are violating or have violated our Terms & Conditions, Guidelines and/or applicable laws, or if your profile is offensive or inappropriate.

Some situations of when we would delete a profile or account:

  • If the account is not linked to a valid email address, including if the provided email address has expired or is no longer accessible by you.
  • Your profile contains an offensive or crude username or images
  • You may have multiple accounts and profiles. You may only have one user profile on TrustClicks. If you do create any additional profiles, will have you to choose between them and pick which one to keep and we will delete the rest. if we do not receive a response within in a set timeframe set up during contact, we will remove all but one of your profiles at our discretion.

*Note - If your Profile or account is deleted, so will be the reviews linked with those accounts.

9  Misuse of the notification function

TrustClicks users Should notify us of any reviews that go against our Guidelines (Applicable laws) However, misuse of the notification system will be considered a breach of Terms & Conditions.

Examples of misuse include, but are not limited to:

  • Carrying out misinformation towards positive reviews towards a company you personally have had a bad experience with.
  • Contacting us about a review many times when it has already been assessed in accordance with our internal quality process, exceptional conditions may apply.

10 &nbp;When do we move your review from one company profile to another?

If for some reason you post a review on the wrong company’s page, we will contact you to inform you what has happened and ask for which company you wanted to review and we will promptly move it to the correct company page.

11  Fabricated reviews

TrustClicks is meant to be the user-friendly community review site where visitors can easily share Service Experience with companies and fairly tell their experience.

We have a no tolerance policy towards fabricated reviews. Trust is crucial within the community is key. under no circumstances are we to allow fabricated reviews. Fabrications include comments that are not genuine service experience.

If you have evidence that a review is fabricated, we encourage you to notify us through our whistleblower function by sending an email to:Any Email

Taking all reports of fabricated reviews seriously and go under investigation. We ask to give any and all evidence why you were to believe a review is fabricated.

12 Threats against TrustClicks employees and companies

There is No tolerance for abuse or any cases of threats towards TrustClicks employees. Blackmail of any kind from other companies by our users is unacceptable. Such things of this nature would be monetary compensation requests for editing or deleting TrustClicks reviews

13 Enforcement

We strive to maintain the trust of our review community, We have the rights of enforcing the Guidelines if we observe breaches of them, or of applicable laws or regulations. The same applies if we observe behavior that we believe or suspect to be inappropriate.

Our website is subject to change at any time and this may come without notice. We will let you know about changes via Website. You agree to continue to use our website and our services after a post of a new version of Guidelines constitute your acceptance of said changes.
